Jonathan Rowe finally gets his goal. Cuts inside Matty Cash and into the bottom corner. Best performance I've seen from an opposition player in some time. 2-1 #AVFC

GOAL: Jonathan Rowe, and it's been coming. Lovely goal, cutting in from the left and curling into the far corner. Bologna 1-2 #AVFC

Bailey and Maatsen replace Morgan Rogers (who has been booked) and Emi Buendia. Maatsen to move just in front of Digne, while Bailey has to be diligent in helping Cash out with Rowe. #AVFC

Bologna hit the woodwork again and are starting to rally once more. Lamare Bogarde is coming on. He replaces Amadou Onana. #AVFC

Buendia, who has been much better in the second half, plays Watkins through, but he dribbles into the goalkeeper's hands. A result of Bologna's full-backs starting to tire, being a few yards off their direct opponent, with Buendia finding more space centrally. #AVFC

The second goal has knocked Bologna onto their heels. Intensity has gone out of them, which is critical in their setup. #AVFC can kill the tie, here

GOAL: Ollie Wattttkinsssss! He doubles Villa's lead, punishing Torbjorn Heggem for giving the ball away. Lovely finish from Villa's striker. Bologna 0-2 #AVFC

Villa profit from Bologna, causing their own issues again. They play an odd straight ball around the backline, with Buendia then doing well to intercept the next pass. The richochet falls to Watkins, who finishes very neatly. #AVFC are 2-0 up (somehow), but eh, they'll take it

#AVFC could just pair Abraham and Watkins together, if the plan continues to just go long and compete with Bologna's two centre-backs

HT: Villa struggled to get going in the first half, but find themselves ahead. Bologna thought they had opened the scoring in the 26th minute, but it was ruled out, and Ferguson hit the bar shortly after. Konsa with Villa's late first half goal. Bologna 0-1 #AVFC
