It's not overly difficult for #AVFC to play out from the back as they have overloads when United press, but the midfield is having to get through a lot of work. Having John McGinn back does give Emery so many more options in what to do with and without the ball. Good tempo

#AVFC in a very compact 4-4-2 without the ball, the defensive line is high and aimed with stopping play through midfield. Emery keeps gesturing for the ball to go out-wide but never through, so onus on Bogarde/Digne to defend well
