Maatsen has a slightly different role from the usual remit of #AVFC's LB. He is having to run inside as Rogers often stays wide, but Emery is trying to get him to do things quicker. Rogers is getting freedom to make whatever run he pleases, so could become more of a threat.

Aston Villa thought they had equalised at Turf Moor through Ollie Watkins — but his header was ruled out by VAR for offside. Unai Emery's side only had to wait another three minutes though, as Ross Barkley hauled them level against Burnley.

HT: It's level at the break after Barkley's late equaliser. They fell behind in the eighth minute when Anthony followed in from close range. Villa lacked intensity for much of the first half and were fortunate not to be 2-0 down before scoring. Burnley 1-1 #AVFC
