Abraham has started once (FA Cup) when Watkins has been fit. Clearly #AVFC's concerns about managing Watkins' knee are no longer. Emery picks him due to professionalism/work ethic, not just in games but in all areas, but this is simply the point in the season he has to produce

#AVFC are back in Lille. But Emery will hope it’s not as turbulent or dramatic - it probably cannot or should not be. Villa have tried to reset since Chelsea & rediscover their strengths. A good footing before 2nd leg is a priority so, as Emery says, they can “recover confidence”
