Bologna are without their best CB and that, along with their FBs switching sides, has addde to their confusion. The FBs look uncomfortable, especially Mario, when McGinn is trying to roll him. Bologna, still man for man, but playing risky - #AVFC should be able to cut through

Bologna's full-backs are playing on their weaker sides and have swapped. Miranda, left footed, is on the right. Not sure why but perhaps because McGinn and Buendia are more inclined to drift inside, they would be tackling on their stronger foot. Interesting (for me, anyway). #AVF

Both #AVFC full-backs could miss a potential semi-final if they get booked tonight. An issue for Matty Cash, possibly, after Jonathan Rowe's performance last week but also Lucas Digne, who plays a third game inside seven days ahead of Ian Maatsen. Seems to have edged ahead again.

Last week, #AVFC identified corners as a way to exploit Bologna, which they felt they were weak from. Two goals later, Villa were right. In open play, Villa should be sharper than in the 1st half and therefore have opportunities to cut through a team who leave space centrally
